Join us for an amazing evening creating fused art glass! Your hostess will walk you through the intricate design techniques for creating fused art glass jewellery – then you create your own five original designs, choosing from an extensive array of art glass. We take the projects back to the studio and fuse fire them, then attach the necessary findings before delivering them back to the event location for pick up. This is an evening you will remember!

The main rink is now closed for the season. Increasing hours of daylight and position/angle of the sun in the late day have made it difficult to keep all sections of the ice frozen.
The snowbank rink is still open and will remain open as long as conditions allow.
Questions/concerns: firstname.lastname@example.org or 587.520.0465
NOTE: We gently remind all residents that this is a community/volunteer-run rink, not operated by the City of Edmonton. It is exclusively operated by a dedicated (but small) corps of volunteers. If you would like to be part of this fantastic community asset, please contact us at email@example.com.
Phase 1 of this project is now completed in front of Father Michael Troy Jr High School with 20 poems chosen by a community jury and sandblasted onto the sidewalks in the Wild Rose neighbourhood this summer, 2016.
This is a call to anyone living or working in The Meadows areas of Larkspur, Wildrose, Silverberry and Laurel to send us your original, unpublished, short (4 lines or less, untitled) uplifting poems. These chosen poems will be installed in the next two phases, in front of Velma E Baker Elementary School and Silverberry Playground.
You can drop off your poems at the Meadows Library, along with your contact email, or you can send them to the project administrator at firstname.lastname@example.org
Imagine your words of inspiration, your little love letter to the world, inspiring people for decades – a joyful, long-lasting legacy!
Submit soon and often!
If you have not visited the new Meadows Community Recreation Centre yet this is a must! Tours are still being held as well as bookings for personal trainers are still available. Contact email@example.com for details and registration.
