Arts In The Meadows
June 15th is The Meadows Community League’s ARTS IN THE MEADOWS. This is a multi-cultural festival, kicking off its first year, with the intent to become an annual event! It is a festival that showcases talent of all kinds: musicians, dancers, singers, artists and photographers.
To participate you must be between the ages of 6 and 20 years, and you must have at least one member of your group living within The Meadows Community League to register.
This festival is being held on June 15th, 2013, from noon till four pm ( 12 - 4 ) at Silverberry Park near the playground.
There will be two stages set up as well as food vendors.

This event is also supporting the Edmonton Food Bank so please bring a non perishable item to donate when you come!

Bike Safety Programs

4 WHEEL DRIVE
10:00 am – 12:00 pm
This class is for children who love biking and are still on training wheels. Children learn how to stay safe while having fun on their bike!
For children 3-5 years

RIDE TO SURVIVE
1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Stay safe while having fun! Learn basic bicycle skills rules & of the road.
(No training wheels please)
For children 6 - 12 years

Helmets and bike bells are mandatory.

Clean Up Day/Big Bin Event!
When: Saturday, June 1st
Where: Velma E Baker School ( 2845 43A Ave )
Time: TBA
Clean Up Day in the Community is taking place on June 1, 2013 at Velma E Baker school parking lot. This will also be a Big Bin Event, so Community Members are welcome to drop off old carpet, lumber, etc on this day.
Please Note: No chemicals, paints, propane tanks or appliances that may contain Freon, will be accepted in the Big Bins.
